Who We Are

ABOUT NDCC

Built by the Deaf community, for the Deaf community — an annual invitational that gives Deaf cheerleaders across North America the national stage they deserve.

Organizational Independence

The National Deaf Cheer Competition (NDCC) is an independent, non-profit organization governed by its own Board of Directors. We are proudly supported by WarriorsGate Entertainment, Inc. (WGE) through Rydrea Walker Studios, WGE Sports, and WGEPlus.tv, who serve as our official technology partners, including website management and streaming services. WGE does not own or control the NDCC.

Our Mission

THE VISION
BEHIND NDCC

Cheerleading in the Deaf community has always been a powerful form of expression and school spirit — yet for too long, Deaf cheerleaders have been overlooked on the national stage.

NDCC was founded to change that. By creating more high-level competitive opportunities throughout the cheer season, we give athletes the motivation and recognition they deserve — especially those from smaller schools who rarely get the spotlight.

NDCC is designed to complement — never replace — existing events like Clerc Classic. We are an addition: another stage, another moment, another reason to cheer.

Problem

One cheer competition per year causes cheerleaders to lose motivation and interest quickly into their season.

Opportunity

More competitive opportunities for small schools — giving every team a chance to shine on a national stage.

Commitment

NDCC will not replace or conflict with Clerc Classic or any other Deaf tournaments — it is "in addition to."

Recognition

Cheerleading deserves to be recognized as the athletic and artistic discipline it truly is.
